I know that I am late posting, but our Christmas Day was BUSY! We woke up at 6 am for "Santa" presents. Then we had to finish packing my parents' van for our trip to Virginia. At 8 am, we went to my parents' house for Christmas with my parents/family and Jake's parents/family. It has been a tradition since Jake and I got married to do breakfast on Christmas Day with both sets of our parents at the same time. It gets a little frustrating. In fact, I almost blew up on Christmas Day. After Christmas presents and breakfast, we waited around until lunchtime. What is special about lunchtime? My dad, Jake, our boys, and I took off for 5 days in Warrenton, Virginia with my sister and her family.
As a side note, Jake drove through his first snow storm this Christmas Day. He did very well considering it was about 2 hours that he had to drive in it.
Jake was very good to me this Christmas. I always tell him that he isn't listening to me, but he heard every word that I said. I received a Nook (because I am addicted to reading), a wagon (so I can walk the dog and 2 boys around the neighborhood), and a gift card to get a new pair of running shoes.
Merry Late Christmas!
